beamhouse processes within the leather production cycle, with results that are not always satisfactory.<\/p><p>The action of the enzyme in soaking and liming should focus exclusively on the keratins of the bulb, promoting the cleaning and detachment of the hair at the root; however, given the non-specificity of enzymes currently on the market, the supporting structure of the hair also undergoes an attack. If we add to this a low degree of preservation of the raw hides, the final result will be the solubilization of a large part of the fibers. <\/p><div><p>OSMOTASE, the newly conceived enzymatic liming agent, utilizes different, more specific enzyme families designed to promote unhairing without damaging the collagen and the grain of the hide. In addition to this particular blend dedicated to keratins, the synergistic effect of lipase enzymes is utilized. <\/p><p>This combination allows for hair detachment, bulb cleaning, and efficient degreasing of the leather without the use of surfactants, and it enables an increase in hide yield without utilizing traditional anti-wrinkle agents.<\/p><p>In addition to these qualitative aspects related to the leather, it is important to note the significant reduction in COD and TKN
